Coming up on the Nov. 22 Boudin Barndance, our 14th annual Thanksgiving night Doug Sahm tribute show. All things Doug for three full hours!
Crazy-ass weather in these parts the last few days, but this time the WRIU transmitter withstood the wind assault. The big news was being greeting by four brand spankin' new Numark CD players. They are beauties. Lots of doings on this evening's Boudin Barndance. We previewed the band Southeast Engine who play a house concert hosted by yours truly tomorrow evening right here in Peace Dale. Event page at:
http://www.facebook.com/#!/events/109375049221204/. Also previewed the Rosie Flores/Marti Brom tour which touches down in three New England locales from Friday thru Sunday. New releases making their Barndance debut this evening included albums from Wreckless Eric & Amy Rigby, Buford Pope, and Scott Macleod. Buttshaker of the week????
