Live music on The Boudin Barndance this evening as we welcomed locally based artists Allysen Callery and Bob Kendall. Allysen plays The Sandywoods Farm in Tiverton on Saturday night while Bob celebrates the release of his new self-titled album with a show at the Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River tomorrow night. They joined us for the entire last hour swapping songs and telling stories. The first two hours were a mixed bag of vittles. New releases making their Barndance debut tonight included albums from Jolie Holland, Jonah Tolchin, David Olney, Marshall Crenshaw, the fabulous new one from Jim Mize, and the equally great new one from Willie Nelson. We thank the Legacy Recordings folks for providing some Willie CDs to give away this evening.
