After a week off for biking and beering on the front range of Northern Colorado, the Boudin Barndance was back in action tonight with a full plate. What with the anniversaries of their passings on Friday and Saturday, respectively, we remembered two Memphis giants in Jim Dickinson and Elvis Presley. We did a birthday set dedicated to a bunch of honky tonk greats including Buck Owens, Don Rich, Rose Maddox, Connie Smith, Porter Wagoner, and Jerry Lee Lewis. New releases making their Barndance debut this evening included albums from Caroline Rose, Cory Branan, Tom Heyman, Paul Thorn, Lera Lynn, and Matt Woods. Buttshaker of the week????  Elvis with “Wearin’ That Loved On Look”.  Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods....
