Driving Directions
If you feel like taking a road trip to visit WRIU, here's how to get here:From Providence, Boston and Other Points North:
Take I-95 SOUTH through Warwick, RI and then bear LEFT (either of the left 2 lanes).
Take Exit 9 to RT-4 SOUTH.
Follow RT-4 SOUTH all the way until it merges with RT-1/TOWER HILL ROAD.
Continue on ROUTE 1/TOWER HILL ROAD (bear RIGHT) until you get to the exit for RT-138 WEST (there's a traffic light).
Turn RIGHT onto RT-138.
Follow RT-138 until you see a sign for The University Of Rhode Island (it will be on your RIGHT).
Skip the first road you see a sign for (that's UPPER COLLEGE ROAD, there's a traffic light). Skip it.
The next road on your RIGHT is LOWER COLLEGE ROAD.
Turn RIGHT onto LOWER COLLEGE ROAD.
Follow LOWER COLLEGE ROAD until you arrive at a 4-way intersection.
Turn LEFT at the stop sign and follow the road. You'll see a gate ahead of you that leads to our parking lot.
Find a parking space somewhere and come say hello.
From Westerly, Connecticut and Other Points South:
Take I-95 NORTH to Exit 3A (RT-138 EAST/Kingston-Newport).
Follow RT-138 EAST until you get to LOWER COLLEGE ROAD.
Turn LEFT onto LOWER COLLEGE ROAD.
Follow LOWER COLLEGE ROAD until you arrive at a 4-way intersection.
Turn LEFT at the stop sign and follow the road. You'll see a gate ahead of you that leads to our parking lot.
Find a parking space somewhere and come say hello.
From Newport, Jamestown and Points East:
Take all the bridges until you get to RT-138 EAST.
When RT-138 EAST ends, exit onto RT-1/TOWER HILL ROAD SOUTH.
Continue on ROUTE 1/TOWER HILL ROAD (bear RIGHT) until you get to the exit for RT-138 WEST (there's a traffic light).
Turn RIGHT onto RT-138.
Follow RT-138 until you see a sign for The University Of Rhode Island (it will be on your RIGHT).
